Wordfence Security

Wordfence Security is a firewall and security scanner. Analysts on the team research the latest malware variants to protect your site the best. They also have a team working 24hrs to be available to help customers at any chance. I chose them for this reason along with their high rating.

JetPack

JetPack is a security plug-in that aids in protecting your site. This plug-in provides constant monitorization of your site and alerts you by email with threats or changes. They also protect against spam. I chose this plug-in not only for its ratings but becauase I appreciate the heavy monitoring on my site incase any threats try to breach.

iThemes Security

iThemes Security is a plug-in that protects against hacking and cyberattacks. I chose this security plug-in because of their care for customers and high ratings. Themes wants customers to feel secure in knowing their site is protected. Themes will protect my site even when I am not present.

Classic Widgets

Classic Widgets in a plug in that allows me to access previous widget setting screens. It also disables a block editor from managing widgets. This is extremely helpful when it comes to editing your site. I chose this plug-in because I needed the customizer and it has a five star rating.

Akismet Anti-Spam: Spam Protection

Akismet Anti-Spam is a plug-in that blocks spam comments. It also helps with contact form spam. I like this plug-in because it automatically checks all comments and filters out the ones that look like spam. This is helpful in a website because spam may make new users not want to stay/crowd up the screen.

UpdraftPlus WordPress Backup Plugin

UpdraftPlus is a plug-in that assists customers in backing up the content on their site. You can not only back up your database but also your files. This is helpful if an update goes wrong or your server crashes so you don't lose your content. I chose this plug-in because I never want to lose my progress on my site.
